This week my mantra is Exhale. Yes, just exhale. We go through our daily lives with so much stress. We hold in so much. We walk around holding our breath.
What happens when we exhale?
We relax. We soften. Surrender a little. Maybe even smile.
What happens when we feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off our shoulders?
We exhale.
We give a "sigh of relief".
So that's why this week I choose to focus on exhale.
May we be mindful of the tension we are carrying around everyday. May we remember to loosen up a little. Take things a little lighter. Smile a little.
Yoga teaches us to surrender, and let go. Breathing is yoga. May this mantra remind us that yoga is here to help us unfold, unravel, and just be who we naturally are.
