I made a vow

I made a vow to myself to just show up on my mat.

Show up, and do my best to toss any worries out the door, and do my best to toss the expectations too.

I'm going to show up and meet myself where I am, because no matter where I am, I am beautiful. 

And in this state of allowing, I open up so much more. Sometimes physically, but mostly inside. 

When I let go and allow a pose to simply happen, sometimes I exceed my expectations and go deeper than I thought I was capable of. Sometimes I don't, and I thank myself for trying and for accepting myself. 

Can we do this with others? Can we show up and meet someone where they are? Let go of expectations, and thank them for trying? Thank them for just being here with us in this moment. 

Imagine how our relationships with others would bloom if we strived to live in such a gorgeous way.
